This 3-week offering, taking place on the first three Wednesdays in March, will incorporate the history and movements of Irish and Folk dances for an educational and empowering experience. Did you know that different styles of Irish dancing were created as a form of liberation, protest, storytelling, and as a way to deepen connection to self and the land? Through the practice of simple and fun movements rooted in these dance forms, we will explore their history and meanings and develop our own movements that embody these practices. All levels of dance welcome!
